Position: Education Center Coordinator

Full-time: Start Date ASAP

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Education Center Coordinator is responsible for managing Sinjar Academy’s center in Sinuni. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating all classes and services at SA’s Center in Sinuni. The coordinator serves as the primary SA representative in Sinjar and oversees a broad range of services, including but not limited to, day-to-day management, supervision of education activities, logistics, coordination and provision of student services, representation of SA in meetings, and other related services to assure program success. The position will require day-to-day responsibility for the services offered at SA's center in Sinuni, Sinjar.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, software engineering, Information Technology, electronics, telecommunication, engineering or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in program coordination or management and experience working with students or clients in advising and developing goals.

  • Experience in coding, software development, and/or Information Technology is highly preferred.

  • Considerable knowledge of overseeing non-profit businesses such as knowledge of accounting, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and assessments.

  • Skill in operating a computer and various supporting software packages.

  • Skill in delivering public presentations and designing training sessions.

  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and work in an environment with regular interruption.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form in English and either Kurdish or Arabic.

This position is full-time that requires a 40 hours a week.
